Look at how many GOP state and federal Congress people there are. When you have 1000 people all over 40, you're bound to lose at least 10 of them in any given year. I'd expect that in and given year, you'd lose closer to 20. That's 1.7 per month. But more people die in December from disease and old age than other months. So we would expect 3 to die in any given December. One additional death is normal in a random distribution.
Also, assassinations are almost always done in a way that makes people suspect foul play. They want other people to be afraid. These guys did not die in ways that make people suspicious. So I'm order for the assassination to have purpose, these people would need to know something that they haven't told anyone. Is there information they were holding?
