I'm taking the risk on the FDA-approved veterinary product. They feed that stuff to $1,000,000 racehorses. We used to take dog antibiotics for varied ailments. It's the same stuff, just branded for a different species/with a different dosage. No real risk, even when it's not for $1,000,000 racehorses.
