As you know, DC and surrounding areas have some of the worst traffic. Go early, plan ahead, use all your resources. From my experience, the metro is probably the best way to get around.
This allows for parking outside the City, transpo to and from. You can walk, rent a bike, Segway or scooter. Probably the bike share will allow for a point to turn in when at the rally so you’re not responsible once turned in.
Download apps via your app store. MetroHero: WMATA DC Metrorail, I used the Metrohero App the most. Also, for those wishing to bike: Capital Bikeshare Was the app.
Also, don’t forget to update your personal maps. I use android, I always download a specific area (google maps) that I am traveling to. This ensures up to date map info and better offline workability when no cell towers or GPS.
Anyhow, not all inclusive but a recommendation and hopefully an assist for anyone who has not thought of it.
I posted in the same line as your title, and recommend those seeking more go to your post. Good work Bro!
