I was there to! It's fine to take your kids if they're teens. The only time antifa attacks is when your alone or your helpless. Stay in groups and theres no issues. Most fights are between antifa and proud boys who are defending us. I took my 16 year old to the last one and I'm taking him to this one. We carry pepper spray, tasers, and we leave when it starts getting crazy. This is about Trump however Antifa seems to think we are all going there for them and they just need to get the fuck over themselves and fuck off
The Congress will have to know that some BLAMTIFA types will try to take them on in the evening. And that MAGA crowd may in fact outnumber them and DC 'police' and security. And they don't want to get caught up in it. If they don't reject Biden's attainment of 270 on Wednesday they KNOW they will be in for a world of hurt.
Unless they're not in D.C.? I have heard if the slate confirmations are being done in person or by remote meeting.
you'll be fine just stay with the crowds, patriots protect each other and just leave when the fights start breaking out.... they're always verbal fights before physical and the verbal is your clue to get out! have fun and be safe!
Allow me to introduce myself, I'm the emergency plan. I've got a few people lined up to do extraction if things turn ugly. I'd gladly accept a few more volunteers. Spread the word.
Before the civics lesson on Wed. you might want to have a history lesson on Mon. or Tues. about the Bonus Army protest of 1932 and the U.S. Army machine gunning a protest of WW1 veterans who came to the National Mall to protest for the bonus money they were promised for service in the war.
I personally think that 1.6.21 is going to be safe. At least during the day. Come nighttime though, things might change. From 10 am to 6pm, probably should be good.
I'm assuming the same. I'm trying to organize people to be standing by to help people get out if the worst happens, but if we don't get any emergency calls, we'll start rolling to the extraction points around 5:30 to help people get back their cars, hotels, etc. Spread the word, and message for details. I'd also gladly take a few more volunteers.
I agree with everything except the time... at the last protest/march Antifa started up around 2:30ish... the verbal fights start before the physical fights, when you hear the verbal thats the clue to get out .... we did that and my 16 year old son and I were fine
This is exactly why I'm doing what I am. I'm trying to organize a rapid response team to help people get out of the area if things get bad. I don't want to see kids caught in the crossfire. I've set 5 extraction points. I'm not publicly posting them so Antifa can't camp out there, but you can message me. If things get ugly, get your kids to one of these points. We'll get you out.
Ummm. Do not go with such, unless your kids are all young men itching to man helicopters... It will be instructive, though: more of a POSTcivics class.
I woudn't take the kids. If this is going to work it will not be a safe place for them.
I was at both stop the steal marches and things were fine during the day in crowds. Things only got dicey around 3:30 or so.

Uh that's an even more dumb idea. Do you want to get attacked by antifa?
5.56 is still deadly well past half a mile, which is further than most blocks in DC
Take the kids but plan to be in the right places. Don't go anywhere stupid and you'll be just fine
If you have taught your teens how to defend themselves from attack, then go with cautions.
Young teens are still no match for grown adults without a form of equalization....
Either are women! Safety is of the Lord!

It's not just safety. Kids shouldn't see people being hung and shit, and there's a reasonable chance that's how things go.
Definitely made the right choice homeschooling. Too many kids are becoming leftists by default just because they go to public schools.
My homeschooling family drove in from Texas for the Million MAGA March and we're coming again for 1/6. See ya there!
Seems like a bad idea to take kids...
God bless you family
Brave and admirable.

Based homeschool field trips.
Great opportunity to learn the constitution and on constitution.

Sunset is around 4:30. And with restaurants and businesses closed downtown, it'd be wise to start heading out by four.
Get that tax write off and defend the country.. well played :)
Way to go Pedes!
You may be aware of Patriot Academy, Constitution Alive (Rick Green), and Wallbuilders (David Barton). Good resources for homeschooling.
This is retarded, bringing kids to a violent protest is insane.
If you want to scar your kids for life you can bring them. There is going to be violence and tear gas.
Do NOT bring your kids to this. It could get dangerous and we could be forced to do things no child should see.

Not sure if anythings going on or not. But I'll just happen to be there on the 6th as well. Weird
I don't think this is going how you expected.
Leave the kids at home, teens or not. They and you become a liability.
I good government and civics lesson I heard!

glad they got your approval!
