Watch the part with the Nazi store owner. You, the viewer, are supposed to compare him and Michael Douglass and conclude "All white men in America like this dude are basically all Nazis." I remember at the time Rush's reaction. He said "It's you. This movie is what Hollywood thinks you all are" speaking of Rush's audience. Even then, white guys were the villains. Only difference is, then it was considered controversial. Now it is expected.
