If we have at least 6 contested states, each will get a 2-hour debate. That's 12 hours in itself putting it into 1am on the 7th. I definitely expect counting EV's will go for a while.

Isn't is 2 hours per disputed elector? I may have misunderstood that.

If I recall its per state. I could be mistaken but I believe the debate is for rejecting an entire slate of electors for the state.
