Fuck me you're right, the I didn't look at the rear sight well enough.. It's a two state apature and not the flip up sliding rear site if the No.5..Still a damn sad waste of a great surplus weapon..Have always had a fondness for British rifles, I have multiple No. 1 and just one No. 4..I bought a sportorized No. 5 but had a military stock made for it, bought a money trap of a Martini Henry that took about two grand to make it safe to fire..Now I just need a Snider and a Lee-Metford..

What tipped me off is the length , the stock and yes the rear sight.
An as issued no.5 actually fetches quite the price these days and they're becoming harder to find and there are fakes out there.
