At least some of them are being threatened.

There are intelligence-collecting centers ALL over this country. There are fusion centers. All kinds of government officials and their contractors and former contractors have the kinds of snooping equipment that only law enforcement is legally permitted to have. In any anticipated corporate litigation these days hacking or wire- tapping plaintiffs or whistleblowers is rampant. It happened to me for years. A large company or a government agency or contractors for them or criminal mafia elements working with them can make your life HELL in ways that it is impossible to report to the police without looking insane or putting your family and business matters on the public record permanently. You can be completely innocent and framed or made to look bad in a thousand ways. If you have a computer connection, they can download terrorist material or child-porn material into it and use that as an excuse to confiscate it, while discrediting you forever. Now they have Covid as an excuse if you drop dead somewhere. They have heart-attack inducing technology and machines that can bombard your brain and manipulate your thinking. It's all there, just look it up. It has not been unleashed on a mass scale but it can be at any time. People keep talking about the global dystopia that is around the corner IF this happens and IF that. The global dystopia is already here and has been here for over a decade. The good news is a lot of people know this now and are fighting back.
