No offense, but that is the jankiest most Chinese looking "body armor" I've seen in a long time. May want to at least test if its stab proof before trusting it. Surplus store near you probably has Kevlar vests availible.

There isn't even a plate crease at the top of the carrier. Thought maybe it has Kevlar inserts, but no way you have plates in there. The average level IV plate is about 1" thick. If you do actually have plates for it, the carrier needs to be adjusted way up to the top of the join in your collar bone. Major arteries come from the top of your heart.
