In one of Leigh Dundas' recent videos, she goes over the precedent for the President of the Senate basically doing whatever the fuck they want in counting the votes.
There is precedent for Pence counting the Trump electors and ignoring the Biden electors of states which sent two slates. This would be legitimate according to precedent and guarantee a Trump win, but the optics would be terrible, playing into their narrative that we're stealing the election. In this case, I would expect division to increase and the leftists will probably strike first in Civil War 2.0.
He can also reject all the electors from states demonstrating irregularities. This is the best optical play but sends the election to the house, where I can almost guarantee Pelosi will delay until she becomes Acting President, then pull some bullshit to steal the win from us beyond a hope of regaining the White House.
The only truly safe win (optics and tactics) is for swing states to decertify the slates of Biden EVs they sent. Which I don't think is very likely at this point. And I would like to be wrong.

That’s why Pence got that suit dismissed this week and said that the lawsuit should be directed to Congress. Congress will vote on objections and I don’t have to tell you how that ends up.
I dunno man. Those are the three avenues that exist unless something truly earth-shattering transpires tomorrow or Tuesday.

Pence is not going to “throw states”, Bro! Pence will hear objections and send those to Congress like the law says. A Dem Congress is not going to affirm objections and take away electors from Biden. You would have to be on crack to think that yo be a realistic scenario.
I 100% agree with this strategy and feel like it has been underplayed. I don’t see how the VP can constitutionally allow the electors of a state that violated their own election law. And I also believe that disallowing those electors is the only thing g that prevents it in future elections. The stages should be punished or forced into a runoff if they want their votes to count. However, I don’t think this avenue has precedence...which would be a rough road. I don’t know how that happens procedurally.
If dooming is not fantasizing about some elaborate head fake that is going to made at the last minute by Pence to save the universe, call me a sooner (realist).
