I think it’s similar to a bullet hitting concrete, or a thinner plate steel. I do a fair bit of shooting and see how bullets react with different stuff. There is so much kinetic energy behind it that the softer metal, plane- aluminum, bullet- copper jacketed lead, will penetrate, leave damage and essentially disintegrate when met with a dense target. Wings bare the engines and the fuel (allegedly) so their is big density there. Enough to damage the walls in the rough outline of a plane as shown.

But the planes would have been shredded on impact of the outter concrete-clad steel frame like you say and never had the size or energy to really damage the core, where the strength of the building was. I believe it was wired with cut charges in the elevator shafts in the core 3/4 the way up and set off top down slicing the beams which let it fall in on itself. Evidenced by the tower on building 1 falling into the building before the rest follows, suggesting the core support is gone.

Yes, it would have shredded on impact plus given the fuel it would have exploded, which would mean that wreckage would be strewn everywhere at the base of the building. Yet all they found was one engine that was NOT the same make or model used on these airplanes. Witnesses said they saw a truck drop it off.

Once you accept that it would not be possible for the plane to penetrate the building, once you are aware that controlled demolition took the building down, that the hole in the Pentagon was far smaller than a plane, that no wreckage of a plane was visible in first shots, that the "hole" in Shanksville was a small ditch, then the idea that a video was faked is not a step too far.
