The whole D.C. area is filled with amenities, all the way from Dulles Airport to Reagan National, down to the Mall. I hope people realize this, and yes, you can easily stay in places like Fredericksburg, VA and drive up to a Metro stop, a Downtown garage, or even take the MARC or VRE trains.
