Indeed, and most elected officials will be safely cloistered away from any rabble-rousers. They may well picture the day as something like a momentary sociopolitical storm to be endured, but with clear and calm on the other side. They hope for merely a tropical depression, while we hope for a category 5. Only time will tell who will be most fulfilled.
