By your logic quoting any scholar, philosopher or politician means you also must take on their ideology. Sometime dumb people make intelligent comments. Sometimes smart people make incredibly stupid comments. In this case a racist war criminal made an incredibly intelligent and intuitive comment. Agreeing with the sentiment of the comment doesn't make you Hitler or a Nazi. That would be dumb.
