Last minute plan to make the trek. Coming from Philadelphia. Anyone know of a decent spot to stay? Cash isn’t that expendable and all hotel rooms that are still available are ~300+ a night.

You're coming from Philly? I'm about 1h30 from there and I'm driving down early in the morning and was going to leave around 4-5pm. If you want to split a room or meet up down there I'm open for whatever.
I’m actually planning on driving down Tuesday evening and staying the night and coming back probably Thursday morning. Not exactly sure yet, planning around a work trip.
Oh nice. Well if you want to meet up down there and grab food or something let me know. I'm driving down solo and never been to anything like this before
Bethesda North Marriot at White Flint. That's on a Metro Line and there's places to eat around there. You can go closer into Bethesda, but prices will go up.
That’s a good recommendation, thank you
You're welcome.🐸
Plenty of cheap hotels around the nearby airports if you don't mind driving 30-40 minutes into DC.
DC is expensive. Share rooms or stay outside the city.

Anything close to the city center is running over $300, I’m not interested in parking my truck downtown in a parking lot unfortunately
Alex Jones said Hyatt Regency still has places
