The “news” about why the Nashville 2nd Ave AT&T building was chosen as the parking spot has been that the dude believed in lizard people & hunted aliens.
You don’t blow up an AT&T server hub & make efforts to avoid hurting any people over “the lizard people”. A Lizard Squad, though? That’s quite interesting.
Lol ... so the sauce was lost in translation, eh? Intentionally?
Seems like a great place to house a massive bot-army, if you think about it. Lots of power and cooling, literally unlimited band-width. No one asking questions. Lizard Squad specialized in DDOS attacks, right?
Maybe that bombing stopped a tremendous DDOS attack on something critical ... like our power-grid. Losing electricity to areas of the country with sub-zero temperatures (i.e. Dakotas, Michigan, WI, upstate NY, etc) would result in large numbers of deaths of the vulnerable.

Doing so on a religious holiday seems fitting.
