Yeah, I read his statement. Disappointing...Thought ol' Tom Cotton had the sauce to be someone in the future. He lost all my respect.

Total snake move. His reasoning is pure BS. “Congress would take away the power to choose the president from the people..." <Dominion has entered the chat>

Where was his stand against the states whose election processes were modified by non-legislative means, contra Article II, Section 1?

If he didn’t stand to guard the Constitution then he shouldn’t hide behind it now.

Let’s pretend he’s correct, though. Colton is implying the Electoral Count Act of 1887 is unconstitutional, THEREFORE, he needs to force a challenge by SCOTUS so that it is remedied NOW and not in another crisis however long from now.

Congress would be exceeding its own power if it tried to overturn the Electoral College results and set “unwise” precedents.

Cotton is the classic retard type that pretends the democrats (((react))) to republicans. Hey dummy! Wake up!

All book smarts, no street smarts.

Which books though? He sounds like an accountant.

He went to Harvard for undergrad and Harvard Law. Not too bad for a cattle farm kid.

He is super book smart, but clearly lacks in other areas.

It is sad. Nearly everyone that is accepted graduates. Hardly the stern meritocracy that created the mystique. The rotten Cotten we have today is a product of their precious system.
