If it really involves CP then just the act of releasing them would put Lin Wood in jail for the rest of his life. And you can bet a massive dump of CP into the public sphere would spark an investigation that would figure out where it came from.
That said, I feel like it would be worth it if it really is as bad as is being claimed. If there really is a group of satanic child raping/murdering elites operating in the country, and if the various intelligence agencies are involved in it, then fucking everyone needs to know about it and the proof of it needs to be so ironclad and undeniable that even the most rabidly zealous lefty couldn't deny it.

If Lin Wood can get both into Trump's hands separately then at no point can he actually be charged for carrying CP, but the authorities will have the evidence they need to start arresting.
I think that's his entire plan but somehow one part of the delivery is being rejected by Trump's Gatekeepers.
