I'm torn between , s&w m&p .40, kimber 1911 .45, , sig p320/p226 9mm, or beretta m9. What in your opinion is better. I'm tempted with old reliable 1911 but I've heard good things about these others for the most part.

At this point, buy whatever you can get the most ammo for.

I have the P320 and i love it. Until i lost it in the boating accident. I suggest you go test them at a range and see what feels good for you

P365 XL w/ Romeo Zero Red dot. I love it. 1911 is too bulky tbh. When I open carry it's with a G17

Sig P226 if you can afford it. Probably the most expensive on the list outside of particular Kimber 1911s, but it's a really nice firearm.

It's not which one you get, it's which one you get *first*.

Glock 19. It’s smaller but still 9mm, and easier to CC for everyday use.

It is up to you. These are all good guns, pick the one that fits you best. It is a tool, get the one that feels right in your hand. There are great guns from CZ, Springfield, etc. if it feels right it will be much easier to learn how to use. everything else is a cock measuring contest. most times you have to buy one to figure out you really don't like it.

Comes down to how comfortable you are at carrying anything greater than a 9mm. Those caliber weapons unless you spend some real bucks to get a customized 40 or 45, get real bulky to carry concealed. But i have both a 9 and 45 that i do carry depending on the situation I may find myself in. Can't go wrong with a sig 9, the kimber 1911 depending on barrel length is a very good choice.
