Just to be clear, 1min and 5 seconds into the show - you never see a mask again. When she wore the mask, it was in February or March, not December.

I think the mask was used to illustrate that the "show" lives in the real world and was used as a vehicle to illustrate the passing of time. Why the grand kids are now 2 or 3 etc.

I am with you on this mask crap, however, I would probably give last man standing a break. Just my thoughts.
