Yes, and I don't even see how this could work in their favour. The European countries people like Bernie hold in such high regard are basically capitalist with socialist policies (public healthcare etc), nothing is owned or regulated by communities, it's just paid for with taxes. With this new definition that's not even an option making it even more undesirable to anyone who doesn't have blue hair.

This is the key difference between communism and social democracy -- private means of production with public redistribution vs publicly owned means of production.

I don't like or advocate either system, but words mean things.
