I walked neighborhoods for the Senator in Santa Monica, where I lived at home in summer during college years, in 1964, my first year I voted. Went to two Dodger Stadium rallies -- jam packed. And then went to his last campaign event, parade up Montgomery St in SF the day before election. We went up to 4th floor of bank building and joined in throwing confetti out the windows. Good times, good times. Then got to vote for Reagan 4 times!!
