I understand very little, but it depends on whether you think he was a hero or a traitor. If he's a hero, then this action is good.

The U.S. wants him so they can put him on trial or Epstein him. In theory, he's safer outside the U.S. so the judge blocking extradition is good.

Nonsense!

Better that he is extradited and pardoned, than going crazy in solitary confinement, in the hands of the enemy of america.

Maybe, but given how corrupt our justice system is proving at the moment, I would prefer any hint or signal from Trump directly that assange would actually be pardoned.

Without that, it's way too risky to bring him back. Too many people want him dead.

he's dead if he doesn't get extradited, guaranteed. Trump can send trusted people to escort him back. He NEEDS to be here to testify IN A COURT to what information he has, regardless if the court is corrupt or not. Is it foolproof, no. but if he is released on his own he's dead.

One thing - I'm not sure that it is possible, to pardon assange pre-trial.

That is why I think extradition is best. So long as he doesn't get to trial, to get to pardon, he can rot in jail.

And go insane.

Tommy Robinson met with him, and implied that assange's basic functions are being impaired by his solitary confinement.

as far as I know:

  • he's in Belmarsh High Security Prison in the UK serving a 50 week sentence for bail breach, of which he's already served them all. His imprisonment was extended due to the Extradition case by the US DoJ
  • the Swedish rape charges have been withdrawn so do not apply
  • there are no other charges against him
  • The Extradition hearing was completely discharged (failed)
  • He should be released shortly

to me, Judge seemed to imply she didn't trust the CIA.
