Any evidence that could reasonably compel someone to change their mind has to be presented to them with enough advance notice that they can actually confirm it and think about its implications. You can't drop a bomb in a 5 minute congressman speech and expect all of a sudden a bunch of congressmen will instantly change their minds and vote differently.

The volume of assets politicians amassed is why simply stopping their paycheck for any reason (e.g. gov shutdown) means absolutely nothing.
Among other restricitons they would need to have their assets frozen, too.
It’s not talking about just stopping their paycheck. They lose all credit, banks frozen, no payments made or received. Property blocked. No conspiracy allowed to circumvent. No one can legally even donate anything to you. It’s tougher than you think. If 2017 EO (https://www.whitehouse.gov/presidential-actions/executive-order-blocking-property-persons-involved-serious-human-rights-abuse-corruption/) gets tied it too, might be worse for some? Idk I posted this post for conversation and to learn from others.

Gifts or “donations” are in the EO. It’s prohibited to give or Donate anything to them.
Missed that, and my main concern is wealthy benefactors expecting to benefit by lending support to the downtrodden congresscritters.

the 6th has congressmen speaking for up to 5 minutes each, only up to 2 hours total per objection. that's not a format for bringing up anything new.
