Any evidence that could reasonably compel someone to change their mind has to be presented to them with enough advance notice that they can actually confirm it and think about its implications. You can't drop a bomb in a 5 minute congressman speech and expect all of a sudden a bunch of congressmen will instantly change their minds and vote differently.

the 6th has congressmen speaking for up to 5 minutes each, only up to 2 hours total per objection. that's not a format for bringing up anything new.
