Your assumption is correct. "LCMS" is the orthodox one. Basically the same service as it was during the times of Luther. Whereas ELCA allows gay marriage, women pastors, open communion, [insert liberal flavor of the day]
You can really think of it like how people interpret the U.S. Constitution. Some say it's a "living document" open to interpretation, while others say it should be interpreted as it was originally written.

He says we ask it in the name of Brahma ,so its ok ,maybe in brahma's religion they ask it in the name of amen and awoman, who knows. These new progressive religions change constantly and its hard to keep up.
