Hypothetically, The Republic of Texas has the opportunity to "take over" or bring a neighboring state into it's new union.

NM, OK, AR or LA

Who do you choose to take with you? You MUST pick one.

Gosh, that is a tough one. Born and raised in Texas, I did graduate from Oklahoma State. That being said, my family has roots in LA, and I love Gumbo and dirty rice. NM has that old west feel to me, and AR, well, beautiful part of the country, but Northwest Arkansas has turned into a East Coast type area because of Wal-Mart HQ. I would want to hear what each state would contribute and bring to the party.

Ha! That IS a Tough question for you.

I'm an Okie, so obviously I want you to pick us. More than anything I just highly recommend you don't choose Arkansas over us, we won't be happy! 😉

But, I have Four things to offer you...

Lots of cajuns moved to OK after hurricane Katrina. So, while the food wouldn't be as great as it's home state, we CAN offer you dirty rice and gumbo.

We have an inland port in Catoosa

We also have the oil pipeline crossroads of the world in Cushing.

And because of our geographical location we can help you round up the dirty commies in DFW and ATX.

New Mexico is Dusty, Arkansas is inbred and Louisiana.... Hurricanes!!! Lol

Valid points. Welcome to Texit! My wife grew up in Jenks and most of her family is still living in and around Tulsa. I loved my short time there.
