I think a huge showing on 1/6 is important from a public/optics standpoint, but unfortunately will be spun by the usual-- media/leftists, and nothing will happen.
1/6/21 will have a HUGE showing. Trump will brag (rightfully) about the crowd size.
The media will show photos of small, unattractive crowds, and focus on any violence that may occur and even blame it on conservatives. This is the strategy that "won" the first time, so they will not change it now.
The absolutely only thing that would change 1/6 into a positive day is if Trump himself announced, to the crowd, news that is confirmed benefitting himself. Like, real news. News that CNN reports "Trump is a dictator and is keeping his power" would confirm it.
But that won't happen. He will most likely announce he will never concede and will keep fighting, and even probably announce a 2024 run to take back the country.
