She didn't just win re-election. She is not up until 2022.
The swearing in is a formality as it's a new Congress term.
That being said, agreed on everything else. No need for her to resign her seat. And her not doing so isn't an indication of anything.
She's also getting intel as a senator that the transition team would otherwise not have
