I'm looking into some local jobs, and I need to check the real estate market. I like that the capital has less people in it than a couple small cities where I live, and of course the landscape is great. Honestly, I'd eat pilot bread and multivitamins for a year if it'd get me up there and set up. Its as far away as I can go without having to Change citizenship. I'm excluding Hawaii because I know I can't afford that.
I'll look into that, too. Theres all kinds of interesting islands and stuff in that area too. I don't need much, and I don't care about clubs or restaurants or any of that crap. Might be time to make a change.
Its expensive, but if you hunt and fish its manageable.

Kenai Peninsula is nice and a lot cheaper than Juneau. Lots of lefties live there due to its the capital.
