Seriously wondering if they each get a cut of that 5000 if they catch someone, they're being predatory as bounty hunters to these poor guys just trying to make a living. Doesn't help that I'm in OR where Brown has weaponized OSHA to an amazing degree.

A friend of mine works for a construction company. They were at a site in the OSHA inspector came in and only found one violation, but didn’t find them for it.
The violation in question was they wanted more traffic cones put up to define the route the trucks were supposed to take. They didn’t have quite enough cones on hand, And ended up spending thousands of dollars buying new cones. About a week later, OSHA came by again for a follow up and fined them thousands because the cones had dust on them. They were still clearly visible to the naked eye from several hundred feet away both day and night, yet they had to on a 2-4 times a day basis have a water truck drive-by and wash every cone off to keep OSHA happy For the remainder of the project.
