The Capitol Police force reports directly to Congress and is the only force to do so. There are roughly 3,000 on the force but that does not include the civilian employees. It does include fat ass donut eaters and pencil pushers who have never actually had to face violent mobs and will likely piss, shit themselves, and run if shit gets hot.
