Imagine being forced to work because it's now law that you must provide your skills and services for free and aren't allowed to make a profit.
What's evil is allowing the government control over housing markets. Why should I be forced to provide a home to someone who can't afford it? So I worked my ass off to build my equity only to see it go to shit because Joe someone over there could afford an apartment because of some mental illness he or she suffers?

Full blown socialism and full blown communism will never work. Even the socialized programs we have now are garbage and a drain on our society. I say get rid of it. Prices will naturally drop and quality will rise due to more competition. It's basic economics.
