Lol, I was thinking about creating an alternate Reddit-like site for free speech with some special features over Reddit too.
To answer your question, very little, but I find such comments are usually massively downvoted and so are hidden away (if they're not removed completely by the mods). Maybe you've come across such comments more frequently than me however.
Also if such users are going to be banned by the mods, isn't that effectively a block anyway?

I'm not sure what you're getting at. My current understanding of the block feature on thedonald.win is that it has a inexcusably long delay (2 hours or so). On Reddit, I block someone, and it's immediately like they never existed. I couldn't find their comments if I wanted to. They couldn't send me a message/comment if they tried. So, this is preferential to me, anyway.
Ah right, yeah if you need it to be immediate then you're out of luck. I was just saying that they'll be banned from the site sooner or later, so you won't be hearing again from them ultimately.
I hear you, but that's not even close to being OK. On reddit, if I block someone, they disappear like snow in the springtime. They're gone immediately. You couldn't see their comments or posts if you wanted to. Game over. Why in the fuck would thedonald.win not work the same way? A 2 hour delay is not an improvement when you're blocking someone.
If they keep spamming you, I definitely sympathize then. Otherwise we get the last laugh if they're banned from the site; let them have their pathetic last message. And yeah ideally, TD should fix the issue.
As a tangent subject, sometimes, there's pedes (not leftists) who I strongly disagree with and it's tempting to block them. But then I think well for the sake of other innocent users, I'd like to refute their false information if they're spreading crap. If I don't see their replies (or comments elsewhere), other users on the site will still be able to, so I'm at a disadvantage and if anything, it helps push their agenda more easily.
Just so we're clear, that was not my understanding at the time. There's no explanation of why the users that you have blocked are not blocked. You still see their messages. They continue to harass you. And then you start to question what "block" is supposed to mean. When you block them, nothing happens. So, then you try to "deport" them. Nothing happens. Then, you message the mods, and nothing happens. The entire system is a total piece of shit, IMHO. Whereas, you go back to Reddit, you block someone, and it's like they never existed. All their comments immediately disappear and they can never message you again. Right now, I have the mods on thedonald.win attacking me on a daily basis. So, yeah...the entire system is broken on thedonald.win, imho.
