I am worried this will all be for nothing if people don't actually get angry. Maybe it's just the initial euphoria of realizing you are not alone and crazy.

Waaay to early to get your adrenaline flowing. There will be plenty of time for that. When POTUS gets up and speaks or people start feeling a little fear and anger from Antifa. The mood of a crowd can go from party to violence very quickly.
Speaking from experience my advice to you right now is to stay relaxed as possible and keep you mind focused on real and practical things in front of you. Enjoy the company you are in and try to make some new friends. If your anxiety is overwhelming and you can't shake it, find someone to help in someway. That always works.
Right now, patriots making friends, forming bonds and otherwise connecting is very important. This is the perfect time to do that.
