A petition for writ of certiorari was filed. That's the standard pleading filed in a Supreme Court docket, essentially seeking permission for the case to proceed. A motion for expedited consideration of the petition was also filed, which is a separate document asking for the court to please speed up the process of ruling on the petition. Looks like SCOTUS has ignored that motion, and has set the Petition response date for 2/3 (as opposed to the date sought by the motion, which was 12/30)
Well given that the motion for expedited consideration is seeking for the reply date to be set for 12/30/20, I think it's fair to say that the motion is not going to be allowed as filed...

if this image were scrolled down a few pixels, you'd see that there was a petition filed and the response is due February 3rd, 2021.

As far as I am aware that's just a default date (it's set 1 month ahead usually). It's not something they actually decided.
