Because Nunes was key to unlocking FISA-gate the Memo etc. There was a conservative treehouse article about it.

Without Nunes, we’d probably still be sitting in the dark. He was one of only a couple of people that were able to change history.

This. There is no one who did more to foil the Mueller/Weissman coup attempt than Devin Nunes and his investigation into FISAgate.

I would say Kash Patel did even more, but then he was Nunes go to guy. Without Nunes, Kash wouldn't be able to do what he did
