Even though the Bee is satire, they really did say amen and awoman during congress. Amen is a greek word. An affirmation of ones faith. It is not a gender identifier. These people are morons.
This is TOTALLY what we should do! In all of our social media comms....every time we use a word that includes the letters m-a-n, we should change it to woman—or use both, as in mandate or womandate......or if a word includes the letters s-o-n anywhere in the word, we should change it to “child,” as in perchild instead of person, just to show how utterly ridiculous this whole thing is! Too funny!
