Cell phone video should be shot HORIZONTALLY. Yes, I know it's easier to shoot video vertical because that's how you normally use your phone but not a very wide angle of view. For video like this you need a wide angle left and right so you can see what's happening
At this point I don't understand why they don't design phones so landscape mode is the default mode no matter how you hold the camera. Its easier to hold a phone in portrait mode so people will always keep doing it until they change that.
If youre watching tv to look for real reporting thats the problem.
At this point the first ppl to see footage are probably watching on their phones.
Idc either way. Everyone just make sure you're recording. Not streaming, unless you can do both bc the feds will get the stream taken down fast and then down the memory hole she goes

Why don't manufacturers allow camera mode an option to automatically shoot landscape regardless of the gyro? You could change it, lazy mon.

Exception: vertical is permissible if needed to get an entire pitchfork and/or musket into the shot.
