They know it's absolutely stupid, but they also know that they can use that type of shit to try to restrict people's freedoms even more.
What starts off as just a dumb statement from a fucking hack becomes an actual push for the word amen to be banned on social misleadia sites under the guise of "stopping sexism" when it's obviously just a way to censor a certain demographic. Then they'd try to eliminate it culturally as a whole, and they'd get their propaganda to attack anyone who points out that the word has nothing to do with gender. Thousands of bullshit cuckbait articles with headlines like "Why saying amen is harmful to women," trying to build that narrative. Then they'd try to push harder and get people fined for using the term. Then "oh you used the word amen? You're sexist! You shouldn't be allowed to own a gun!" Expecting that type of shit isn't even exaggeration at this point of clown world.
