I would not trust this leader considering all the corruption in Mexico.

Exactly. The veneer of. "well, we're a 1st World country where shit like what we JUST SAW happen doesn't happen." But it did happen. To us. In America. We shouldn't be looking down our nose at any other country right now, feeling superior. Same corrupt shit here, and blatant.

I don't know much about him but I believe he's one of the few leaders in the world who refused to call Biden the president.

He's been a lot more solid than some 'allies', just saying.

Also the US released a super high ranking former airforce General from custody a few weeks ago. He was being investigated for drug trafficking, Trump allowed him to go back to Mexico to be 'investigated' there... Not saying this is the quid pro quo necessarily, but surely he owes a favor back?

Maybe he will just take favors by the armful and backstab at the first chance he gets, like all the megacorps that enjoyed the extremely bigoted tax cuts and stock record highs only to suppress factual evidence and maths at the key moment.

Fuck knows at this point. Loyalty is an increasingly rare commodity

The cartels call the shots over there and they most likely just want Assange to than “kidnap” and trade him for a high ranking prisoner that’s jailed in America
