Ive also considered that it may be some type of technological broadcast device casting the images. although in very rare instances sometimes you can wake up in that state feeling like ur drugged with novocaine all over ur body and they can interact with physical objects or even take them from you.

It's also important to remember that at this point in the situation, it is your conscious mind (brain) encountering and viewing the "entities". In a simple way, they are not something (vibrations) our brain has any sort of prior knowledge of or experience with in the physical world and thus connects dots when deciphering what you are looking at (like you would a symbol).

I can kind of confirm this. I experienced this kind of sleep paralysis constantly until I told the entity to begone in Jesus’ name.
