Hopefully enough people get pissed at this that once the election is sorted we start hammering down on everything else that's wrong. The airlines need to be taken down quite a few pegs.
If, for any reason, you do need to get bumped (sometimes you were the last one booked, no seat assignment at ticketing, and you don't have a seat at all), then don't settle for anything less than at least $500 voucher + hotel + meals.
They sometimes offer more, but that amount is pretty standard without them having to get special approval.
As soon as they offer it shout out something much higher but very realistic, like $1k. Get it in everyone elses head they have the negotiation power here...
$100 is not enough for the inconvenience.
Or "fweedom"

A few private air fields for private flights nationally with no TSA fingering until they realized capitalism means competition.
At least $600, according to pelosi.

Of course! Or any ticket on next flight if nothing else available...
No. Cash in hand or company check. Never bs flight vouchers you'll never be able to use.
I'd take $300 cash over $500 in flight vouchers. (Of course I want $500 cash. Or even more.)
But I wouldn't even consider $300 in cash because USDOT rules could give me more.
Never had them offer cash or tried to get that... But yeah, this would be way better!
I was gonna say, let them keep their damn money.
Wait until the absolute last second. Thatβs how I got a free flight and $600.
GEOTUS creates markets everywhere lol

Damn that's 1/6 of a stimulus! πππ
