I'm finding that attempting to click on a post make me lose where I am - cannot get back -- soo many great users trying to ready everything.

I've resorted to Open In New Window for everything. want to go to Rising, or New or an individual post, open a new window and keep your base window alive.

don't know if this is of any help but for me, it's a good thing :)
