Hello pedes.
Not posting for any particular reason, just wanted to show that not every non-Trump supporter is insane / thinks you’re all degenerates, etc.
I grew up in LA to progressive, Democrat parents and nearly all my closest friends are firmly on the left. I voted for Obama in 2012 (in my circle, it didn’t even occur to me not to, not to mention I was only 18 at the time) but then left the Democratic Party prior to 2016–although I did admittedly vote for Bernie in the primaries, then Jill Stein for President; despite my status as an Independent, I nonetheless supported only Dems and third party candidates between 2014-18.
While my views themselves haven’t changed much since, the past year has been a real eye-opener for me in how radical so many of the Democrats truly are re: insane covid lockdowns & thought policing, etc., and was enough for me to move to Austin over the summer with my girlfriend. (I voted for Jorgensen and libertarians/republicans only in the recent election, my first time(s) voting for a Republican!) I am a big Tulsi Gabbard supporter, and would take Rand Paul (for example) over 98% of the other Dems. As a rule, I think that society should be balanced between progressive and conservative ideas, and can’t stand the condescension and scorn that so many so-called progressives display towards those on the right. For me, who you voted for doesn’t say very much about who you are as a person, and I am constantly seeking perspectives from those with whom I may disagree. I’d rather grow than try to fit the truth into what I already think, and my political views are a mixture of such thinkers (let’s face it, IDW / Rogan-orbit peeps) as Michael Malice, Eric & Bret Weinstein, Jordan Peterson, Douglas Murray, as well as novelists such as Dostoyevsky, Kesey, Rand, Thoreau, and the GOAT Tom Robbins. (Also, those JK Rowling haters can fuck right off!)
Among my closest friends, one is a diehard pede, and when he kept ranting to me about how Trump would have the election overturned, I kept an open mind and asked him where he was seeing all of this purported evidence. Naturally, he sent me here, and I have been scanning posts on this site for the past couple weeks. From the start, I was less skeptical about the election being rigged than I was that Trump et al would be able to outmaneuver all the deep state and intelligence agencies plotting against him, and I largely still feel the same way. Even neglecting all the evidence shown here, just looking at things from a ‘would these people do this’ angle, I have no doubt that the Democrats would do all they could get away with in trying to gain power. Their championing of ‘democracy’ is a joke; they largely just want control, and can only offer us a false sense of security in exchange for our freedom. A terrible trade, but unfortunately one that many of my misguided friends won’t hesitate to take.
Like I said, I don’t have a particular reason for posting this. I don’t know whether this ‘Kraken’ will be enough to make a difference, but neither am I convinced that we aren’t genuinely on the brink of the historic info dump that so many of you are eagerly awaiting. (Or at least waiting to be recognized by our corrupted MSM.) I just want the truth to come out, whatever it may be, and hope that in the near future a middle third party will arise—not of corporate centrists, but of real patriots who represent all Americans—so that our despotic, globalist duopoly will finally crumble. The real war isn’t left vs right, but freedom-lovers vs authoritarians, and I’ll always oppose authoritarianism in whatever form it takes.
Anyhow, I’ve loved my move to Texas so far and wanted to pay forward some of the love I’ve received from good-hearted conservatives here. I may not have voted for (or against) Trump in either of the past two elections, but I share his/your cynicism toward the MSM, Dems, our intelligence community, our military-industrial complex, and the dangers of PC culture / censorship, etc. I’ll be sitting back with a bagful of popcorn eagerly awaiting whatever happens on the 6th!
it’s nice to know you’re giving free thought a chance. a truly rational person couldn’t watch msm without thinking, “something isn’t right about this continuous, hypocritical narrative they seem to be pushing.”.
