I think the DC swamp proved that laws are an At Will thing. If they are so concerned about We The People not following The Rule of Law, then maybe We The People will help them remember who rules the nation with our God Given Rights.
This reminds me of an old Dilbert comic that went something like this:
Dogbert: I believe you should be able to own any firearm you want.
Dogbert: However, I believe I should own all the ammunition.
