If Pence plays his cards right, he will have a glide path to be the next president because he can negotiate with the ultimate deal maker to get his endorsement for 2024 and Cruz, Hawley, and anyone else will be left in his dust. He is a steady leader and after 8 years of a big ego POTUS, I think the country might be ready for a guy who speaks softly and has a big stick. If he does the right thing, he will have a huge stick.
