Under normal circumstances I would always agree with you.
However, peaceful protests and civility will no longer work if they get to openly and blatantly steal elections.
Everybody should indeed think about the consequences, but those thoughts do not necessarily result in "peaceful protests" for everybody.
You should be asking people to consider the consequences very carefully and end it there.
Maybe you should just stay home in your basement and let the adults handle things.....

I feel you and I’m divided on this issue myself. On the one hand I TOTALLY agree that people need to be smart. Bringing weapons does open up doorways to BS charges and even makes it easier to make stupid choices in the heat of the moment.
Having said that... if we are to believe that the second amendment is there for political purposes not hunting or sports then this is absolutely time to bring out anything you got. I mean seriously this is about as far as tyranny can go before you lose the upper hand.
