Their authority only exists because we accept it. We don't need a majority to realize that, just enough.

KeysToNeW 3 points ago +3 / -0

Actually, I don't even think they're big. I think she makes them look big. Have you ever actually seen cleavage? I haven't, but I have seen outfits where they look quite small.

3
pray4peace4 3 points ago +3 / -0

They look like if there wasn't clothing to restrain them, they'd drag on the floor. I don't think any plastic surgeon would want to be associated with that.

Extremely easy to get around, and also (added bonus), make 2 big points instead of just #1 below...hoping at least a few members of congress employ this elementary tactic:

Point #1 is "I can get around this": Members of congress can create/share/promote memes on their social media and simply state in the body of each post that the purpose of their sharing is to "help" Pelosi by giving clear examples of what is not allowed, and tack on to every post "If my help for Pelosi by sharing this meme causes it to spread further, please know it is an unintended consequence!" ...and add a ";)" or "πŸ˜‰" to rub it in.

Point #2 is "Either take me at my post's word, or...": ...be forced to initiate some excruciatingly frivolous & DOA congressional debate about how to judge the intended meaning and intended audience when someone types ";)" or "πŸ˜‰" (and other non-text symbols).

In the end, they'll have to somehow argue that this isn't a clear violation of 1A. When the fails, they'll realize there's no way to stamp it out, AND, simply by arguing it in the first place they'll have been forced to show their true motives/colors.

No, their authority exists because they are able and willing to exert violence against you if you dare to oppose them in any meaningful way. Not obeying their demands, like not paying taxes, counts as active opposition.

The idea that taxes are spent well for infrastructure and other necessities is just a propaganda to make the exploitation feel less bad.

Nancy Pelosi's Speakership is based on fake votes by way of Dominion machines and others that allow vote switch and targeted tampering. Her majority in the house is False. She has many stolen seats in California alone. We need a full nation audit NOW.

stellamonkey 45 points ago +45 / -0

the evil left have figured out that communicating via memes is more effective than having control of MSM messaging. memes are intelligent, entertaining and inspiring, boosting morale for those who will not follow blindly. needless to point out, the left cannot meme. therefore, meming must be banned. george orwell left this out of his book (he could not foresee EVERY aspect of dystopian life so far into the future)...

Exactly what "punishment" can she push down on anyone? Shes nobody.

32
B0ard2death [S] 32 points ago +34 / -2

She's implementing them on Representatives, which i believe she has the ability to do as Speaker.

63
kommiekrusher 63 points ago +63 / -0

It's called the FIRST amendment. It's first for a reason.

44
B0ard2death [S] 44 points ago +44 / -0

Oh believe me, I agree. I'm hoping Ted Cruz picks up on it, since he's in the Senate not the House, and a constitutional lawyer. If its illegal for her to do, he can stop it. I however, am not a constitutional lawyer. Just a generic freedom lover.

27
hloblart 27 points ago +27 / -0

It is almost certainly illegal, but the congressional houses regulate their own activities, at least in session. I think at least 2/3rds are needed to kick anyone out though. This might enable her to take away some committee positions, floor time, maybe budget rule junk, and of course, grand stand.

Give their seat to a Woman of color

12

About all she can do is block them from being appointed to intelligence committee's and such.

Take away committee positions most likely. Since that is where they get the sweet insider info for trades, maybe this will actually wake the Rs up and make them actually want to win over having the cushy opposition position.

5
hloblart 5 points ago +5 / -0

Technically, the house majority has that ability, she is just the leader of the house majority.

18
TuckerCarlsonsTie 18 points ago +18 / -0

Or ice cream bar hypocrite memes. It’s always struck me as odd that government is the only place where we let wealthy, sadistic drunks rule from places of authority. Any other time, we’d force them into rehab, but in government, we allow them to run the U.S. House.

2
MerchantMan99 2 points ago +2 / -0

Because sane people don't want to be a part of that shit show. So the end result is a Congress full of lunatics.

6

thats not the point. they're attacking specifically the right. the right use memes as psyops and streaming for live news. wtf do you mean?

5
bubble_bursts 5 points ago +5 / -0

This applies only to members of congress - or am I reading it wrong?

1

1

3
superwookee 3 points ago +3 / -0

Meme Magic is real and they fear it!

Seriously this is WW3 or Cold War 2. It's information warfare and Meme's are extremely effective information communication weapons.

So Congress gives up their 1st Amendment rights?

arent political cartoons protected free speech? memes are just the modern extension of political cartoons. anyone against memes is a fascist.

3
acasper 3 points ago +3 / -0

Censoring memes doesn’t work how they think it works. Memes are the TCP/IP of ideas. They compensate for and route around damage and censorship.

3

Modern day Stamp Act.

Think about it. Paper goods were taxed with a stamp because the British wanted to make it costly for people spreading pro-American literature -- which also included satire and political comics. Congress is trying to make it illegal for people to spread patriotic jokes.

We all knew this was coming. Either they'd take over memes and abuse them for evil or outlaw them altogether.

The same way every time they break a rule or law it's "brave" and when the Republicans copy them later it's some unfathomable evil and they need to go on about how things were so much different back when they wanted power.
