It is almost certainly illegal, but the congressional houses regulate their own activities, at least in session. I think at least 2/3rds are needed to kick anyone out though. This might enable her to take away some committee positions, floor time, maybe budget rule junk, and of course, grand stand.
Take away committee positions most likely. Since that is where they get the sweet insider info for trades, maybe this will actually wake the Rs up and make them actually want to win over having the cushy opposition position.
